Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 August 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how CloudForge ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects information when you visit this website (http://localhost) or submit an enquiry through it.
This policy covers this marketing website only. If you become a hosting, domain or reseller customer, your account, billing and support information is collected and processed through our billing platform, WHMCS, which has its own separate privacy policy covering that data.
2. Information We Collect
When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you provide, which may include:
- Your name and email address
- Your phone number and company name, if you provide them
- The service you're interested in and the message you send us
Our web server also automatically logs standard technical information common to most websites, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and troubleshooting purposes.
3. Cookies
This website uses only the minimal session cookie needed to keep the site secure (protecting forms from cross-site request forgery). We do not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated to explain what's used and how to control it.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you submit to:
- Respond to your enquiry and discuss the services you're interested in
- Keep a record of enquiries for our own business purposes
- Improve this website and the services we offer
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
5. Sharing Your Information
We don't share the information you submit through this website with third parties, except where required to provide the service you've asked for (for example, if you ask us to open a support ticket on your behalf), where required by law, or with service providers who help us run this website (such as our hosting and email delivery providers) under confidentiality obligations.
6. Data Retention
We keep enquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and for our legitimate business record-keeping, after which it may be deleted. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time — see "Your Rights" below.
7. Your Rights
Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, you have rights over your personal information, including the right to know what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to object to how it's used. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
This website is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date.
11. Contact Us
